Back at uni! Whoo! Am actually glad to be back, my first tut has some really nice people so I'm a happy female-chappy!

My new room-mate is from Iraq which is really interesting. He is a nice guy ^-^ he has been shadowing Karl in order to learn how to cook for himself ^-^ I need to do some research my lack of knowledge on Iraq is rather embarrassing...

I have been buying WAY to much random stuff off ebay...

Spend an hour playing ping pong with a really nice MAP (Media Arts Production) student called Luke and his friend Karl (ANOTHER Karl...). I whopped their asses ^-^ I only lost one game out of 10 ^-^

I've been re-watching LOST and re-experiencing the joy that is Sawyer ^-^ THANK YOU MEL - from me + room-mates! I also bought the visual companion/guide to LOST which came with the Pilot episode on DVD if you’re interested?

I took the photos of Sam off my wall today which was depressing... I managed to take a few hunks out of the wall as well... Hopefully I can paint them over so I'll get my deposit back ^-^

It's been awhile since I've last updated... A long while...

I have been motivated to begin again by the new and wonderful people I met at the HIGHLY wonderful Harry Potter convention Patronus 2006.

There is FAR too much news that needs to be updated this entry will be rather lacking in detail anyways… on with the news ^-^

The Traveling Adventure Highlights/Lowlights:

THE FEET – For those who don’t know my feet decided to swell when Mel and I scampered our way over to Denmark. We don’t know why. But they did. The doctors at the Denmark hospital didn’t know why. But they did. The doctors at the Canberra clinic didn’t know why. But they did.
They are a lot better now (3 weeks after the initial puff-ation) and only cos they fed me diuretics that made me pee all the fluid from my body – GREAT fun!! My fingers are still a LITTLE sore but overall I’m healthy again ^-^

THE LUGGAGE – They lost/delayed my luggage 3 out of 4 times we moved countries. I think that is quite impressive. They really REALLY didn’t like my luggage ^-^

THE CABIN = the BEST thing ever.

PATRONUS PEOPLE = the BEST people ever.

FOUNTAIN FIGHT = the BEST fun ever.

THE CORSET = the BEST (non-breathing) time ever.

SLEEP DEPRIVED MENTAL STATE = Hilarious!

PATRONUS overall was just awesome fun. I really am not doing it justice. I really REALLY hope my bank will allow me to get to Sectus!

Other Info:

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 = BRILLIANT!! SEXY MALES ON EVERY FRAME!! Am VERY much looking forward to the next film! ^-^ That film is going to inspire SO much threesome and tentacle porn!!!

Not only have I updated my LJ but I have updated the layout. I think it needs a bit of work though. The screen dimensions here are REALLY screwy so I don’t think it will fit too good on other people’s computers. What do you guys think?

My AMV didn’t win in the competitions I sent it to :P I downloaded the ones which beat it and I’m not upset at all! The quality was really high! I am VERY lucky I was a finalist!

I got a HD in MAP (Media Arts and Production) Whoo!
They don’t give you ANY marks till the end of the semester so I had NO idea how I was going so this IS a nice surprise!

Sam and I are no more… It happened officially 2 days ago.
I’m not feeling as bad as I was. I miss him though. We had SO many good times together! The problem was he didn’t trust me, his over protectiveness and jealousy caused many arguments. I really think this is for the best… even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. I really want to focus on uni and get a job so I wouldn’t have had the time to keep coming back to Canberra so often. Truthfully though I’m not too bad! I’ve have my crying fits and been through my tissue boxes so now I can progress onwards ^-^

Ok I think I will end on this sad note. Hopefully I’ll start updating regularly again AND start commenting once again!

Anna’s Life:

• I’ve just discovered the joys of napping at work. Don’t worry people I won’t be fired; the supervisors really don’t mind as long as you don’t miss any calls. If you sleep on the desk your phone wakes you up. It’s a wonderful system and a great way to catch up on lost sleep… I love my job…
• I’ve just had a conversation with one of my work mates who was telling me about the evil Buddhist monk who’s addicted to coke that failed him from his uni course because they got into a fight.
• I’ve just booked my tickets for the Harry Potter premiere in Canberra (11:30 on Thursday). My supervisors were rather amused when I asked for a day off to see Harry Potter. They gave it to me though ^-^ they knew how many hours I spent knitting my scarf…
• Now my workmates are talking about ambulance fees they need to pay cos they drank too much.
• Sam and I went to the Pancake Parlour last night then we stayed up till 12 playing Warcraft III at Lazyboys. It was awesome. Sam is the bestest boyfriend in the world. Everything is going perfectly. We see each other almost every second day, and we spend all the other time e-mailing each other. I’m succeeding in my mission to convert Sam to Harry Potter ^-^
• My horoscope today is scary: "No matter how careful you are, you will inevitably say something regrettable to someone. • I also have a carpet burn on each knee, my arm and my thigh from soccer (my opposition wanted to see if I could slide the length of the field if he gave me a little push… it didn’t work…) I am sore and oozing puss.
• I’ve done a whole heap of financial calculations, I think I’m on track for youth allowance AND I’ll also be able to receive a living away from home allowance as well. I should be able to afford accommodation and uni fees in Sydney. I’ll need to get a job pretty quick though!
• I think I lost all my work on my latest amv which isn’t so good…
• I entered two of my amvs into Wai-con the Weston Australia anime convention so it will be interesting to see how they go.
• I’m losing motivation to go to Sydney. I like Canberra, I like my family and my friends, my boyfriend, my home and my job.
• I don’t know why I’ve changed from a content mood to a sulky one, I hope I get over it soon.
• Things Anna can do today: finish off the tassels for my scarf, read, e-mail/chat, jigzone, hand sew gloves, surf the net or sketch doodles ^-^

• Chocolate/chips/unhealthy stuff
